Not all of them evolved, some of them stayed and didnt evolve, only time can realy tell if they did. It's like saying meercat's evolved into cat's which they may have did but why arnt Meercat's extinct.
-
because some were to stupid to realise that evolution is a GOOD thing
-
We did not evolve from the same primates as the monkeys and apes of today did... different branch entirely.
-
this is my fave question and i ask myself this a lot. thats just it. we didnt evolve lol

We didn't evolve from monkeys, we and APES evolved from a single common ancestor.
-
..i really doubt that we evolved from monkeys..it just doesn't click..
-
We didn't evolve from monkeys. Monkeys have tails. We evolved from apes. The ape in question is no longer in existence. Think of evolution in terms of cars. The earliest engines performed simple tasks. Eventually this was combined with a carriage. Later the Ford model-T then years later a wide variety of other models. The modern mustang car came from the earliest version of the mustang. Why are old mustangs still around? They're still in use. As long as it functions it will survive however the old mustang will not be the dominate mustang again. Saying we evolved from monkeys is like saying cars evolved from motorboats or planes. It is incorrect. However cars, motorboats, and planes have a common ancestor, the engine.
-
We also evolved from fish. Why are there still fish around?
-
If children are born from their parents, why do their parents live after they're born? PS: It's apes, not monkeys. Monkeys are the ones with tails.
-
Because they don't taste very good. (Here come the DR's)
-
Not even considering evolution, just in terms of logic, saying that all humans evolved from apes does not imply that all apes evolved into humans. Even if some apes evolved into humans, if the entire human population evolved from apes, then all humans would have evolved from apes.
-
And why are they still monkeying around?
-
Nobody said that we evolved from monkeys. Monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor in a process called Natural Selection. That ancestor is no longer around. There may come a time when there are monkeys but no humans. That doesn't mean that monkeys are smarter or more evolved than humans. It only means that monkeys were better adapted to their environment than humans. In our current state, I would guess that humans are devolving and heading towards the lowest common denominator. Maybe, someday, humans will devolve to a point where they may be able to successfully mate with monkeys but I doubt it. I expect that humans will either breed or blow themselves out of existence and the monkeys may evolve towards something better able to survive than humans.
-
because some monkeys are very conservative and they do not wanted to evolve. However monkeys who smart enough to evolve made people.

If Adam came from dirt, why is there still dirt? Ask a silly question, get a silly answer.
