I never thought of that till now but that would be a good idea.
-
No, and I wouldn't do that because it is more unlikely that the bridge will collapse than that I might be involved in a usual car crash.
-
No ,unless I have some doubt that the bridge may collapse if ever I am forced to cross.
-
No, I've never thought of that. Something else for me to be paranoid about. Great. ;)
-
No, you are much more likely to be knocked unconscious or killed in an accident by NOT wearing your seat belt. This makes absolutely no sense to me.
-
Only if Ted Kennedy is driving. PS If you're the type, say a prayer for him and his family. Them guys been through way too much, and no family deserves all that hardship.

If you end up in the water upside down, I would think you're more likely to be knocked unconscious and drown, or die of serious head trauma before you even have a chance to drown. Not to mention the fact that if you are not buckled in and the car goes out of control, you become a projectile inside the vehicle and pose a deadly threat to all the other passengers. To be blunt, this sounds like a really, really bad idea to me.

If I can't get my seatbelt off underwater (which is just a press of a button) then I'm ovbviously not going to be able to do anything else, i.e. unroll the window, open the door, escape, etc.
-
nope - i just want to get across the dang bridge
-
No. It is more likely by far that I could crash than that a bridge could collapse just when I'm crossing.

Lol, I can't say I ever have....but, now when I cross a bridge, I'll think about this question, haha.
