When someone's asking a long question, instead of just trailing off, making no sense and expecting you to sift through answers looking for the rest of their explanation, shouldn't they just write (See First Answer) at the end to avoid abuse and confusion?

Much agreed, some notification of the rest of the question or the explanation of it to enlighten the reader would be nice. People who ask in the answer space usually do do that though. :/

It would be a good idea if the answer stayed in the first position. As answers are rated, they go up or down in the question. So you'll still have to sift through them. Maybe the powers that be should arrange it so answers by the askers stay glued to the top and remain rateless? Thus avoiding double points.
