With the exception of a Star Fox game, Nintendo has released Wii games based on its popular franchises, as the only good games for the Wii are the ones published by Nintendo, is it possible the Wii could jump the shark?

I don't think it could happen. I mean, the Wii still has good games, doesn't matter where they come from.

The Wii has a lot of good games for it, not all of them are established franchises. More are coming out every month as well. There are many good games that aren't published by Nintendo as well. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and play a new one. Some are pretty good.
