Cats could care less about what you want them to do. They're all about themselves.

Dogs have masters, cats have servants.

it is a lot harder to find what cats want for a reward, wheras for a dog, a reward is time with their owner. Cats can be trained, if we say at home "wanna go for a walk?" the cats know it is directed at them and go nuts!

I don't always find this necessarily true. I have a couple of cats that are trained and know when it's ok to go outside, fetch, roll over or play pretty. It is hard to find a lot of cats willing to do this, but there are some dogs that have the same problem. I didn't need to use a reward system with my cats, to them it was all a game and fun. In fact, I taught my cat to fetch, before my nephew taught his dog to. And to this day his dog is still afraid of tennis balls!! Depending on the amount of time you spend with your animals is going to make the difference, not always what species they are. But this is an objective point of view.
