  • By making more campaign promises that we all know he can't keep.
  • Ifhe shot someone live on TV, I reckon his results might dip a little. You asked. ;-)
  • By showing his inexperience by making way too many promises that even the naive American general public will know he can't and won't keep.
  • For instance, Senator Barack Obama is vulnerable to a vicious Republican attack on who he is and his inexperience -- He is a first term Senator who burst on the scene four years ago. His image with the American People is vulnerable to a negative attack which the Republicans have perfected in their famous 'Swift-boating' technique, used to defeat John Kerry. If Obama fails to consolidate the 18 million core voters who Clinton won along with his own 18 million followers, then he will likely give away enough voters to give McCain the election. So the next important event to watch is whether he chooses Clinton as VP -- on this day he will either guarantee his win, or possibly guarantee his own loss, since not choosing Clinton will undoubtedly send many of her supporters into the GOP camp or convince them to just stay home out of protest. Obama's advisors might act like they 'don't need Clinton's people' but privately they know this will be political suicide to dismiss Clinton's HUGE wins.
  • David Plouffe and David Axelrod set up the campaign which depict Senator Obama as another totem pole figure in the Nixonian Era (1969-Present) of democracy by exclusion. After 40 years, what the people of this nation need is INCLUSIVE democracy and not a government that keeps tearing America apart. We keep hearing about exit strategies from the war in Iraq. What about exit strategies from the wars over here that are destroying our nation? We need an exit strategy from the war on drugs(WOD) which has exacerbated the problem of drug abuse by promoting fear and ignorance, and the war on terror (WOT) that has turned our nation into a police state. We don't need wars that compromise the lives of U.S. citizens. We need Drug Use Education (DUE) that fortifies and strengthens our society. We need an end to the Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) that makes it impossible for physicians to treat patients with chronic medical disorders requiring a controlled substance. The WOT should be transformed into a defense against terrorism, not a war that targets innocent U.S. citizens. We need jobs and the restoration of freedom. All we're hearing is the same old Republican-based drivel from someone who is supposed to be the candidate for CHANGE! Placing a DEA office in New Orleans is NOT change. It's more of the same. Meanwhile, the McCain-Palin ticket is turning this election into a popularity contest. Unless Obama's team starts acting more progressive with enough money-saving strategies to swing over those who are fiscally conservative, many voters are going to go to the polls casting their ballots for either the Republican 1 team (McCain-Palin) or the Republican 2 team (Obama-Biden) or (as it was in 2000) splitting the ticket with Ralph Nader who could easily scarf up many votes because his position on the issues is clearly in favor of the American people where Obama is dishing out more of the same and isn't that a shame coming from the candidate for CHANGE!
  • He could very easily lose it for a variety of reasons. This is looking alot like the Mondale Ferraro/Reagan Bush election in 1984. The Media loved Mondale and to watch the news you would have thought he was going to win easily. He lost by the greatest margin in any presidential election in history with Reagan winning 49 states electoral votes. I hear way too many grumblings from people I know who routinely vote Democrat. Obama hasn't swayed enough of the Hillary voters in his direction and most Hillary supporters I know personally are leaning towards McCain as he is moderate while Obama is too far left of Hillary, Add to that the race issue and he has problems. We may not like to admit it but there are ALOT of closet racists among the Democrats, Blue collar workers and middle america and many white collar workers as well are still racist to a large degree. I know many Democrats who publicly say they are not racist but get a few beers in them and the "N" word comes out rather easily. I'm not saying that's right just that it is more prevaent than you might think. Also Obama is a rabid gun grabber and if you recall Clinton said that they believed the main reason Gore lost the election was because of the Brady bill and the Assault weapons ban put into effect during his administration. The Greenies are also running to Nader since he decided to run which notoriously costs Democrats votes. Add all of that up and Obamas lack of experience and he has a lot to overcome. I think the fix is in anyway and McCain has already won. They are just playing it out for the next 30 days.
  • By saying what he actually believes, thinks, and intends, rather than concealing it from the voters.
  • people see him for the Muslim sleeper agent he is would be one way
  • By using the term "typical white people". By hiding the fact that he intends to add billions in spending that would hurt small business. By being a lawyer for Acorn in Chicago.etc.
