  • yes, it is a pain sometimes. practice makes perfect. you can do it. I know I cant find @ sometimes and ? sometimes and = sometimes. <> and those sometimes. I need more fingers.
  • Yes. I mess up with that all the time. Send your idea in to an onventor, it's a wonderful idea. :)
  • yes i do i must hit it around twenty times a day lol
  • Yes. I'll be typing an answer away and I look up and half of it is in CAPS. By the time I notice it I get so frustrated that I just leave it. Then I get DR'ed for yelling.
  • Lol!!...yes.
  • Absolutely and along with the windows key that should have been put up with the F keys.
  • Oh please. I can't stand them next to each other.
  • Unfortunately that was not an option. When the keyboard (standard QWERTY) was invented it was used on a mechanical typewriter. The keys were laid out in the non-alphabetical manner we now use because it was the best layout to prevent jamming of the mechanical process. For the same reason the Caps Lock key was right above the Shift key. When you pushed Shift, the entire mechanism would "shift" to allow the capital letter on the strikers to contact the paten. While Shift was pressed, if you also pressed Caps Lock you would lock it in the down position by a combination of a hook and a spring. There have been several attempts since the invention of the electronic keyboard to "fix" the layout. Most notably the Dvorak layout which has been proven to be easier to type on than the standard Qwerty layout. Unfortunately for the Caps Lock haters they haven't messed with the position of that key (maybe that's why they don't seem to have become that popular). Check out; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout#Non-QWERTY_keyboards_for_Roman_scripts Hope this helps.
  • I think they should have kept the A key away from the caps lock key. I am notorious for typing everything after the letter A in cPITAL LETTERS
  • Yes, on occasion. Couldn't put it in too many other places though. I'm glad the backspace key isn't there.
  • I use the right shift button all the time...so I'm good.
  • Maybe it's just me, but I find it easier to hit Shift instead of Caps Lock. On my keyboard there's a gap between the A and Caps Lock and it feels more natural to move my pinky finger down to Shift instead of all the way to the side to hit Caps Lock. But maybe it's because I type so much and never use Caps Lock, so I'm just used to it.
  • LOL , before you asked , i never realised they were next to each other !
