It's easier to do it. Of course if you know you should ask permission then you are showing how little respect you have for the person you should ask, and begging for forgiveness demeans both you and them after the fact. What is easier is generally not what is right.

Depends on the situation, there's no single right answer which fits everywhere.
-
"no single right answer which fits everywhere. " is very good. I add that considering only the begging after does not saying about mistrust and hatred for the rest of your life by many.
-
this is dependent on the situation. but if your action is justified, like a kid running out into the street to get a stray cat, then certainly better to beg later. but in the case of something casual, like borrowing something from a friend, its better to ask permission first.
-
I agree with the others. It depends on the circumstances. But if you do something that hurts another person's feelings, begging wont work.
-
Like so many others here have said, it depends on the situation. My personal opinion is just to ask permission first, then you don't need to worry about it later.
-
It's easier to ask for permission, and easier to GET, too.
-
To ask for permission is easier than to forgive for me anyway.
-
Permission is way easier. It sucks to have to ask for forgiveness.
-
Yes, permission is saying that people have authority over you, forgiveness is admitting you did wrong. I have less of a problem with authority than admitting I could possibly be wrong. *wink*

It's easier for me to ask for forgivness because it is easier for me to realize when i am wrong.. and because i dont like to be wrong i prefer asking for forgivness rather than permission because I feel as an adult i have authority over myself and the maturity to make rational decisions...
-
NO, I am an adult and I shouldn't have to ask anyone for permission to do anything. I'd rather ask for forgivness, since that's the grown up thing to do.
