  • urine is used to remove toxins from the body, blood is used to deliver oxygen to the parts of the body. Is there any reason why a substance filled with toxins would be a better choice than one that isn't?
  • I would use whatever water source was available and distill it. It's actually easy to do.
  • Blood would be the better option because urine is a waste product containing all the unhealthy stuff from our bodies.
  • Urine has been used often in such instances, I don't think drinking blood is all that healthy, and your digestive track would have a problem keeping it in. If you vomit you're worse off then you were before. Okay so urine can't be the best thing to drink either but it has saved people from dying of thirstiness, (XD) and it's supposed to be healthier then people think.
  • Animal blood may not be accessible. In survival training, you're taught to drink urine. There are many cases of people surviving ordeals by drinking their own urine... On Discovery Channels "Man vs. Wild" Bear Grylls has spoken of its safety, and demonstrated it as well...
  • Urine would be my first choice (until it got too concentrated). Then I'd look to see where the animals are getting their water. If they have enough blood to drink they should also be the type to need to drink water to live. The next choice is to drink animal blood. It would also feed you. (if you could catch them) At some point I'd look at that non clean water (if there was any) and see if I could distill it and clean it up and maybe the urine also.
