Sad, but true. Where else do you think we should put it?

i was watching dirty jobs with mike rowe, and they used trash to make ethanol(sic) and it helped to heat several houses, i think every "dump" should invest in this machine, so we are not using all of our natural resources.

That sounds like an accurate portrayal of our modern society's overall attitute toward living in this world.

my cousin wrote a song called the world is an ash tray, and i had to disagree

We should put all our trash on the moon.

Pretty much. Gravity's a bitch, otherwise we could launch that crap into space. As it stands it costs like $40,000 or something to get a pound of inanimate crap into space? (dunno, I did a quick search and that's the first figure I found)

i think this is appaling! and yet so true. the lack of respect for our planet and disregard for how fragile it is has us in the state we are in as a human society. we have a part to play in taking care of this precious jewel. the bible says that one day very soon God will take matters in his hands to do something about preserving earth. in revelation 11:18 it mentions that the time has come "to bring to ruin those ruining the earth." God knew from the beginning that man could end up destroying himself by destroying the planet. he is not about to allow this to happen!

Can't agree more, and human are the biggest trash.

My local authority ask us all to recycle all our household waste such as tins, glass bottles & jars, cardboard, newspapers, plastic bottles etc.Since we have been doing this our trash bin has been nearly empty when they come to empty it.Before all the household waste went to a land fill site.In Scandinavia they burn some their waste and this generates power to make electricity. Even the coal fired eletric power stations pump their hot water round the local towns where it is used by the locals for their central heating radiators and hot water supplies.Around the power stations are miles & miles of greenhouses that grow vegetables for the shops.

Then we need to recycle more...
