In terms of evolution, are humans related to any of the other (relatively) hairless mammals, such as pigs and elephants? If so, how?

Today you can test to see how far is your relationship with life on earth. You can test with another human to see if you a first, second or distant cousin. When you switch to animals. You can go to a general test to see when was the last relationship with another species. For example humans and chimps would be around twenty million years when they had a common parent and thirty million for baboons and so on. The test is some type of DNA comparison.

We are only related in that we are all placental mammals. Hair is lost as the result of a number of selective pressures; in pigs, it was lost as the result of selective breeding by humans, and wild pigs are hairy.
