  • i would say yes, pick the kind youre used to although i know people who are left handed yet find it much easier driving right handed cars, go with what works for you
  • I am right handed, yet on those occassions when i am using just one hand, it is usually my left. However, most of the time i have "both" hands on the wheel, this should be considered !!
  • Yes! I've been sitting here trying to think of one and I've got one! Most people are right-handed, so driving a left-hand drive vehicle leaves their "major" hand basically free to manipulate most of the car and dashboard controls.
  • Most people are right-eye dominant. Therefore right hand drive cars travelling on the left (correct) side have better vision through the main side mirror. This seems born out by an increase in accidents where misguided countries such as Sweden have changed over to the wrong ("right") side. (by the way, if you travel around Australia along Highway #1, following the coast, you should travel anti-clockwise. Someone worked out tat it is over 200 kms. shorter because Australians travel on the left-hand side of the road. True!) PS tanx for the reply
