No, personally I will only believe something if it has a citation/source.

It is easy to begin doing... seeing that it is one of the first results in a google search on any topic. It is easy to lose perspective that it is a collection of ideas and thoughts of the general population, and since I don't regard the general population as being highly credible, I don't consider a compendium of knowledge of the general population any more credible. I read it ocassionally as if it were a friend summarizing how they interpret things to be knowing full well that it is not an official statement of how things really are.

Mostly, but be careful. So called "vandals", who want to destroy in the articles, exist.
