Do you ever check the age of the asker before giving a risqué answer to a question?

I try not to answer in such a manner age will become an issue. Even if the asker says they are 18 - 21 or whatever, there is no real way to know if they are telling the truth.

If I'm not sure, Yes I do. Specially in subjects regarding sexuality, dating, etc. I like to use humor sometimes and it might send the wrong message to some kids for example. Older users might get the joke better.

I do now, sometimes, if I am not sure who I am speaking to, I have been burnt on that before.

If its a serious question ...then 'Yes ' ...so I could use appropriate and/or simpler terms while answering their questions ...depending upon their age :-) !

Because you never know the age of the asker, I try to refrain from saying anything like that to any user. I may a little bit more once I feel comfortable with a user in a comment thread or something, though.

You know, if the question is mature, I give a mature answer, if not, then I try to stay in the safe zone.
