  • you have to hook it up to your computer and do it through the software on there. open itunes, after you hool up the ipod, you will see it appear on the left hand column. click on it and it should display the stuff on it on the right in the big box. then highlight and right click and delete.
  • When you go to iTunes, all you have to do is click the video you wish to delete and highlight and right click the choose delete. Then plug your iPod in and it will say that it is "Updating iPod,do not disconnect". When it says"iPod update complete. OK to disconnect" you have sucessfully deleted the video.
  • I assume that you are using iTunes to load the songs onto your iPod. That being the case, Connect your iPod to your computer and run iTunes. Your iPod should appear in the pane of the window with the playlists. Select the iPod and click on the triangle next to it. This will reveal the contents of your iPod. If you are using iTunes 6.x or earlier, click on the Library for your iPod. If you are using iTunes 7.x, click on Music in your iPod. In the big pane you should now see a list of all of the songs on your iPod. Select the one you want to remove and hit the delete key or right click on it and select Delete from the contextual menu. If iTunes asks you if you want to remove the file then indicate that you want to do so. This is how you remove the song.
