I have been unable to do this as well. Suggest e-mailing admin at the e-mail address given in the "about us" link at bottom of page.

NOTE: This question and answer applied to Answerbag 1.0 and 2.0 - before the points system. I don't believe you can delete a rating. You can ask the staff to do that on your behalf, though. When "You rated this ___________" (grammatically incorrect, but no one asked for my help with phrasing), appears -- it's too late, my friend. The curtains have been drawn. The house is dark. The gate is locked. The bells have tolled. The sun has set and the ship has sailed. There's no turning back. Yada, yada, yada. You can change the rating, but you, yourself, cannot perform a rating-ectomy. NOTE to Kitty Kat - You can CHANGE a rating anytime just by moving the ratings slider thing. In the above, I meant that once you've committed to rating an answer, you have to rate it. If you change a rating, the answer will still have only one rating from you, and it will be the latest and greatest. Just like New Year's - out with the old, in with the new. I have the feeling if one person, under one user name, could award multiple ratings to one answer, the leaderboards would look completely different.
