  • TESTOSTERONE
  • For the same reason all girl movies have (basically) the same plot. It sells.
  • Yeah, I carry "stuff." I'm like all guys.
  • Hmm. I know what you mean, but Fight Club was considered a "guy" movie and it did not have to do with guns, if I remember correctly.
  • Maybe a certain segment..have you ever seen "Paths of Glory" or "Lonely are the Brave"? How about "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" or "High Noon"? Happy Sunday! :)
  • The hard hitting action scenes are all the rage now. All the same story line and pattern just told differently with different emphasis. I like sports movies too. Car race movies and Hoosiers (basketball), The Longest Yard (football), etc, etc. No guns and military fatigues.
  • James Bond didn't wear military fatigues. Rocky didn't kill anybody. You nare classing thing too narrow. Guy movies certainly include a class of militaristic shoot puts, but there are other kinds of guy movies. What you seem to ba saying is "why are militaristic shoot outs full of military types shooting?". Well, duh!
  • What's a guy movie, exactly? Gangsters and what not? Still, I think you're generalizing a bit too much.
  • lol, It's entertaing for guys. They're pretty simple minded. They don't like movies that deal with romance and emotion. However, I think girls like you and me need guys like this for protection. I think they would serve that purpose better than guys who want to watch girly movies with us.
  • LOL, well maybe guys just love action. It's who we are. But while we are on the subject, why do all girl movies involve a guy at the beginning trying to hook up with a girl who initially wants nothing to with him and then falls in love and there is a big kiss at the end?
  • Some of them have swords instead. XD
