  • While both power and accuracy are highly dependent on your skill level, a racquet strung at higher tension would require for you to hit a ball harder to generate as much power as a similar shot hit with a racquet strung at lower tension. However, higher tension also allows you to hit shots with more directional accuracy.
  • Perhaps irrelevant to the question, but if you are curious about how to generate more pace/power on your strokes, there are other factors that contribute to this aside from string tension. Namely, racquet balance/weight also affects it and as someone already mentioned, as well as racquet swinging speed. A head heavy racquet will generate more power from the racquet itself, thus would not require you to swing the racquet as fast or generate your own power from your arm. A head light racquet however will require you to swing the racquet faster .
