When all else fails, tuck the slip up under your bra. I am short and often have to do that to get a slip short enough. It bites, but it works. Or (yuck, shiver) hem a longer slip. I can't believe I wrote that. I have hot glued a hem rather sew on occasion.

If you cannot find a slip to fit, maybe the skirt it too short?

I've had slips too long and I have had to cut them to fit..If you flatten it out and cut straight, you shouldn,t even have to hem it. Slips usually don't fray much if at all.

Speed sew works good.

Great thanks. Had thought I may have to resort to altering a longer one, but was hoping someone could suggest a place to buy a ready made one-there's a gap in the market!

I much prefer to wear a slip rather than go without, even if my skirt or dress is super short. Over the years I've acquired lots of very pretty lacy slips in assorted colors. Many of them came in standard lengths that don't work with my shorter dresses and skirts. I got in the habit of having a seamstress shorten them from the top: I bring in my dress or skirt and have the seamstress measure my slip while I'm wearing my dress or skirt. That doesn't work well for my fullslips, but I've found several short ones on the HerRoom (Farr West brand) and similar sites and every once in a while I see a really pretty short fullslip at a department store. My fullslips have adjustable straps so that I can modify the length to a reasonable extent.
