  • Do you need an FME, TNC, mini UHF, etc? Your best bet is to take what you have (antenna, phone, parts) to a Radio Shack. Make sure it's a franchise and not some shitty company store because the privately owned stores know WAY more about stuff and are a lot nicer than their company-owned counterparts. I've worked at both sides for several years and would NEVER trust a company-owned Radio Shack with a light bulb let alone something as delicate as a cellphone antenna. For your warning, most cellphone makers (moto, nokia, etc) now claim the "Antenna Jack" is actually a test jack and using it voids any warranty. They examine the plugs very closely and if there's any wear beyond what is acceptable as they leave the factory then they simply ship your phone back and say "too bad." Worse, most of the companies will mark your serial number and void any extra warranty, also. Hope this helps. Take care.
