A vegetarian diet IS a socially accepted diet. and no its not, many vegetarians suffer from a lack of iron, among other things.

It is socially accepted these days, depending on where you are. But it is really not very well-rounded. So it's usually not that healthy, and most vegetarians (or we'll just say people in general) don't know squat about nutrition, so they're unaware when they are deficient in something, or what they should be getting more or less of in the first place.

No, it can be as unhealthy as any non-vegetarian diet if not balanced well, just like any other.

that depends on your metabolism, some people are more suited than others to eat certain things, personally i find i lose weight very quickly(this is a bad thing for me as i am already to skinny) if i dont eat meat, whereas my sister has been vegetarian since the age of 2 because meat makes her ill
