I agree with jodie44. it's Yakutsk, Siberia. it's not uncommon for the temp to fall below -50C in the winter. I'm from Canada and I know that a community called Snag, in the Yukon once measured -63C. Canada is the coldest country in the world. If you took all the recorded daily temps for one year you would average -5.6C.
