  • Every aspect of marketing is designed to sell more of the product. There are firms that do nothing but test colours, vocabulary, fonts, sounds, and images to see how the public will react. They want to know the reaction of the public to find out what variation is apt to sell more of the product, therefore those words they keep repeating in adverts are there because they have been shown to produce a higher volume of sales. If adverts that were quiet and calm and relaxed were shown to sell more, then that is what we would see... but they are not. The "EXTREME", "POWER", "SUPER" ad copy is designed to entice you more efficiently to part with your money.
  • If an advertisement said "pretty good energy bar"...I for one would purchase it. I am so sick of extreme...fill in the blank.
