  • That definitely sounds like harrasment. What's up with that anyway?
  • i do not think it is legal for them to have NINE cameras pointed directly at your house with audio and video because if it was just only one and the rest pointed around his house but i think that is not legal
  • No way yep I agree you should really watch out that might be harassment.
  • That would be harrassment & invasion of privacy they have no right to be going that over board unless you've brought harm to them in someway they don't have any reason to be doing that. Sounds like you have a sick arse stalking neighbor who needs to get a life & get the heck out of yours. Good luck with that, I think I'd quietly be getting me a B B gun & shooting out some lenses & if they found out & the police was called out I'd have me some pictures for evidence at why you done it & how unsafe you felt because of them.
  • Here are a few thing to look at, these are based on Illinois law, but maybe can help you find the information you need. Intrusion upon the seclusion of another. four elements that must be pleaded to sustain the cause of action: (1) an unauthorized intrusion or prying into the plaintiff's seclusion; (2) the intrusion must be offensive or objectionable to a reasonable person; (3) the matter upon which the intrusion occurs must be private; and (4) the intrusion causes anguish and suffering. Invasion of privacy. Voyeurism. A private nuisance is a substantial invasion of another's interest in the use and enjoyment of his or her land. The invasion must be: substantial, either intentional or negligent, and unreasonable . http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/scripts/getcase.pl?court=il&vol=app/2005/2040170&invol=3
  • methamphetamines arent really legal either...im just sayin. but i think you can have all the video you want, but no audio. at least in most states. do they have helicopters too?
  • Yes it is legal, and no it is not invasion of privacy. As long as it is filming in public, you have no expectation of privacy.
  • It really depends on the laws where you live. Most typically, video surveillance is completely legal as long as the cameras are visible. Audio can really only be accomplished in your house by a laser reading on your window glass (unless the neighbors have sneaked into your house and planted a microphone -- which would certainly be illegal. It'd actually be a killin' offense in my house. I once found a hidden camera at work, so I took a Polaroid of my bare a$$, taped it to a wire hanger and hung it in front of the camera. The film ran for a week :) I recommend you slide up to the side of their house (on the camera shadow side) and hang a picture of your house.
  • Depends on your state, sounds like a complete invasion of privacy..
