Removal? What's that? Either something eats it and drags it off or the people that live in this stretch of road take care of it themselves.

it usually takes maybe three days. i saw that mastodon provided a response here. when we've got a mastodon on the road, it'll take upwards of two to three weeks... :)

COYOTES USUALLY GET THE DEAD STUFF HERE...

we have Vultures flying around all the time, so it does not take them long to clean up the mess

I have plenty of coyotes, wolves, bears, foxes and birds of prey that usually take care of road kill over night.
