No, we were on a tight budget so we carefully weighed each expense.

Well, we spent less than $2,000 total on the wedding, (honeymoon included) but yes, I think we probably still spent too much on it.

Nope. I think we only spent a couple hundred dollars. It was worth every penny....22 yrs & going. I bet those folks who spend thousands of dollars can't say that their marriage is any better...more beautiful...but not any better.

No. I paid for it myself; my family really couldn't - so I saved the money. It was modest but nice.
