Is there a way to record pay-per-view shows from TV without it looking wonky after I tape it?

Thats why its pay-per-view, they don't want you to tape it, its a security issue too.. Yeah, try TIVO, expensive but there is the royalty loophole.

its a recorder, i.e. it records tv shows and I guess anything on your tv. Please check the site: http://www.tivo.com/1.0.asp don't know if its available everywhere in the world though. TiVO, to my knowledge is the most trusted recording device when it comes to quality, it records in HD should you want that so as for the recorded media looking 'wonky' don't worry about it. TiVO records as media files on a built-in hard-drive, I think.
