  • Its between Philosophy and Calculus.
  • Environmental Science nearly killed my spirit.
  • remedial english. i couldnt get it on the second time through either.
  • I took a German I class and was completely lost. I almost failed it.
  • Sociology. The professor spoke broken english. I didn't understand what was being said in class. This was my first class ever at college. I was so scared all my classes would be this way!
  • "Academic Writing"...tho courtesy of a Rolling Stones article, oversized margins, 1 3/4 spacing, 16 pt fonts, spelling out "more than ninety-nine" instead of "100", spelling out all date refrences like "Thursday, November the twelth, in the year nineteen-hundred-and-seventy-seven", etc...I was able to get the required minimum 15 pages from 4 on my final term paper on dog fighting (prof required a 15 pg paper about animals).
  • Psychology. The teacher had a heavy accent and didn't quite grasp the whole time schedule thing. She was constantly late for class.
  • Accounting. Yeah. I am pretty much the opposite of an accountant.
  • I was in Environmental Science with Sixty B...no good! Aside from EVSC 250, I'm going to choose Calc 121. No math for me!!!
  • That would be my "Advanced Recording And Production 2" class. I had to record, mix and master an album for a certain band and they made sure to make it the most miserable process it could possibly be.
  • I took a molecular biology course which wasn't good.
  • English Lit.- The book and the teacher both used the old English (very old) method of writing and speaking. I studied Beauwolf in the old English and just got a D. English majors didn't usually take this course. This was long before Cliff Notes was created. I recently read a translated Beauwolf poem and was amazed how simple and beautiful it is. (for the first time)
  • Well, this really isn't 'college,' or a 'class,' but my first time in a truck in trucking school we went forward and backwards all day between pylons. Yep, 10 hours of forward 100 feet, backwards 100 feet, forward 100 feet, backwards 100 feet. After about an hour in, the pylons went from like 18 feet apart to 12 feet. Tedious, but really drilled in the fundamentals of backing -- I guess. Graduated with a 95% grade.
  • Spanish. I had no clue what I was doing. Thank God my roommate was from Mexico!
  • psych 101 we put tape recorders in the class cause <YAWN> IT WAS BORING
  • Biology kicked my ass. I am just NOT a science person. It was my own personal tenth circle of hell:( To this day I hear "Benedict's Solution" and I start to cry.......
  • history.. took 3 classes.. failed 1 and had to drop the other 2.. college algebra..failed in 3 times and dropped it 2 times., literature ane English Comp 2.. research papers and TONS of reading. By the time I get to the second paragraph, I can't tell you what the first one said.. and we had to read 300-400 pages daily and write a "summary" for an oral speech.. 3 times a week.. YEAH RIGHT..
  • College Algebra and Philosophy.
  • Organic chemistry, the class Satan created :]
  • Journalism 202, Intermediate Writing and Reporting. First time I failed was my fault, i just lost track of time and how many stories we were supposed to have in by what time. Second time, I got off on the wrong foot with my professor, and she would count my stories late (no credit) for last time instead of early for next time (Stories were due on wednesday, but my schedule at the paper meant I had a story turned in monday). At the end of the year she said she "misspoke" when she said she'd give me credit for certain assignments, and when I went to get my portfolio at the end of the semester, started going off on me that this was all my vault and I shouldn't be going around telling people she was a bad teacher (At which point I wasn't, but if you're going to be accusing me anyway...) That second teacher is the adviser for a campus publication that desperately needs copy editors, but hell if I'll apply.
  • Psychology 101 was the worst! I thought it would be easy, but the amount of memorization nearly killed me!
  • Public Speaking, terrified me when I had to stand in front of the class & tell a speech for the first time. I remember my knees shaking & my voice cracking & prior to that I always thought those were just figures of speech used now I know where they come from. I have no problem speaking to people but man when all eyes are on you....
  • introduction to law ...it's kind of my worst and best class at the same time..
