I own a 1980 Trans Am (turbo Indy Pace car) I'm trying to remove the glove box lock cylinder. Unfortuneatly, i do not have the key and the only info i can come up with involves using the key. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Any competent locksmith should not only be able to open that glovebox for you, but should also be able to install a new locking mechanism, and/or fashion a new key for the existing lock. Make sure you contact one that is fully licensed and bonded, and that has an outstanding business reputation.
