That's a pretty fair definition, I think. IMO "evil" is only a term for extremer cases of what happens when people forget to act from love... it has no existence or substance of its own. "Evil" people or acts can cast a shadow, but the shadow has no substance of its own.

Hi Parsec, hope you're good? Another interesting question. I think in some ways it is, but it's also more than that. It's anything that actively and deliberately harms life. We may think that some evil is accidental - the consequences of an act may not have been considered in advance, but that might just be thoughtlessness - hardly evil, tho' it appears so. I think evil has to be intentional in thought, word or deed or all three - interestingly it is 'live' inverted. lol x

KFC, Big Macs, T-Bone steaks, pepperoni pizza, etc; eating these certainly does not "improve" life, thus: Evil? I don't think so, I think "evil" implies just a tad more than the above. Bad for you indeed; but not necessarily evil.
