It is a medication for ADD. Your mind calms down and focuses on important things. Your mind does not wander, and you are basically distraction free. It is also non-drowsy. It is not an anti-depressant, because your mind works differently. But the drawback is you are prone to mood swings. It also decreases appetite slightly, but not drastically like ritalin. I have been taking it for a year and I am happy taking it and I cannot go back to not taking it. I lost 60 pounds and cannot afford to be fat again, or a pushover for that matter.
