To maintain my online friendships. Answerbag is the central theme of my emails to many users here. Without AB, I would lose a conversation piece in my emails. Not all people are willing to talk about their private lives.

For me the divisions are three-way and about equal: knowledge, conversation, and procrastination. ;)
