At a pure guess, 5-10% are true Republicans, while 15-25% are true Monarchists. The remaining majority are "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" - there are far bigger problems than the monarchy.

Most people I know aren't fans, but in a "don't see any point to them but don't really care either" kind of way. We view them in the same way as we view Paris Hilton, famous for being famous without any actual talent, but if you just ignore them your life will go on just fine. We refuse to sing the national anthem though as an anthem should be about your country, not some rich old woman who can fight her own battles.
