How many "Myst" games are there? Are they all as good as the first?

Theres at least 3. I have played 3 and didn't think much of it. But then again, the gameplay and graphics were crap compared to other games I was playing at the time. (I never played Myst 3 until about 2005 which was a considerably long time after its release)
