Mine didn't, which is why I didn't recognize the name. They are primarily used in the Drum Corps where I live. Euphoniums and Baritones are actually two different instruments, by the way, with the Baritone being a member of the Bugle family, and the smaller of the two. Often marching baritones are what replaces trombones in the band (I'm not sure why). And so they are often used in high schools; however, I've seen many bands use trombones and baritones, or just trombones. I guess its often the Euphonium players that pick up the marching baritones. So they answer to your question is - most high schools, yes; some, no.

I think it depends upon the music director. I was a french horn player but my director did not march french horns, I marched with a baritone. However, my fiance was a french horn player and marched with his french horn.

Not always. It depends on the amount of funding the band gets. If they have the money usually they get them.
