  • You might remember this....your auto's speedometer was calibrated at the factory with a certain size tire. if you have installed a larger or smaller tire size, other than the size from the factory, your speedometer reading will not be accurate. If this is the case, you will have to remember to allow for the difference on the highway or suffer a speeding citation.
  • This isnt an answer but i have the same bike and the same problem so you are not alone. It has been like that since it was brand new.
  • Ok... you've bought a British bike and something’s gone wrong... good lord, call the army, run in fear! It always happens, there's always something wrong, it’s what gives British bikes their charm, that’s why you pass over those god-awful hogs for them. Just don't, whatever you do, try to fix it! Your find yourself into a world of hurt! You’ll fix one thing then something else will go wrong... I now, I had one... and I love every wonky wheeled, broken head lighted moment of it... just enjoy the little qualm and learn how to judge speed... if you drive you should be able to already.
