A steri-strip can be used in place of sutures if the wound does not need them. They are not butterfly sutures. They look like little pieces of white tape.

My son j10mos just had a VP Shunt put in his head for hydrochalus. The surgery went well and now he is in recovery but cant hold anything down. Any help or suggestings out there?
