I have not but if my parter was unable to conceive child, I would seriously consider adoption.

No. But I know a ton of people that are adopted. My most recent ex was adopted along with her brother. My uncle brian was adopted into a family of 9. My sisters boyfriend was adopted. My other uncle has adopted two kids. I sometimes think that my brothers were adopted. I know a few more but I can't think of them right now.

The wife and I thought about adopting after our son got married, but then we realized that we were kind of old for the task, that something could happen to us and the child would be left on his own. We did not do it out of responsibility. Regards.

For reasons of decision making effectiveness, I adopt a childlike attitude in many situations but that's probably not the answer you're looking for.

My husband and I adopted a beautiful baby girl in 2003. We have a very Open Adoption, it is so Open we see her birth family every couple of months, they are an extension of our family. Sara, It's so nice to hear about others who have had positive adoption experiences. Not a day goes by that I don't stop and thank Heather and God for this wonderful realtionship I have with my daughter. Her name is Star...I wanted Heather to be able to look up at the Stars anywhere in the world and see how her daughter sparkles with love. Yep, a beautiful baby girl. She’s now 2½ years old, with a miracle-baby little brother (age 1), and we’re just about done with the paperwork for #3!

Yes, we adopted our foster child. He came to live with us when he was three. We adopted him when he was 6 and now he is 7. We also have two other kids that I gave birth to. A 13 year old and an 11 year old.

I didn't adopt but I was unable to have children and was asked, through family circumstances to raise my nephew. I was truly blessed. He is a wonderful boy now and he and I are as much mother and son as any family.

We've adopted two girls and are legal guardians of two boys. The process itself is a little long and at times frustrating, but when its all worth it when its done. Its a great experience and the kids are a joy to our family!
