Base runner on 2nd &3rd. Ball hit to short stop who drops it. Runner on 3rd goes home, runner on 2nd sees the SS in trouble with the ball & runs in frt to 3rd - home. SS gets control of ball and tries to throw when runner goes by. Ump interference runner?

If in the umpires opinion the runner prevented the defensive player from making a play on a batted ball (which this was) then it is offensive interference. BTW, if less then two outs, the runner originally on third would be returned to third and the batter placed on first.
