Ryan Air (budget airline in Europe) started charging extra to take disabled people on the plane. The EU ruled that illegal so they added a surcharge to EVERYONE that flies with them to cover the cost of carrying these disabled people. They also charge a fuel surcharge. They also charge for checking in at the airport. You can check in over the internet for free but you can only do so 3 days before you fly, so if your going to Rome (for example) for 5 days you will need to find an internet cafe that has a printer to print out your return boarding card. They also default their holiday insurance to yes, so you need to manually select it to no. OFC that catches people out. Get prepared for kinds of terrible charges!
