The Sword of Truth series, by Terry Goodkind. The first book is entitled Wizards First Rule. I just finished the final book, and it was incredible. These books are life changing.

i cant stand sci fi books like with wizards n dragons n stuff but i really love all of Anne Rices books the Taltos Series was amazing the Vampire chronicales were all REALLY good and you really get attached to the characters and ive heard the witching hour series and no not all books by Anne Rice are about Vampires, at all a few are Erotica, the Beauty series and she has a couple on slaves in new Orleans and she her few latest ones are very religious and about the young jesus christ and finding himself blood and chocolate is a real good book thats about werewolves DO NOT BASE YOUR OPINION ON THE MOVIE i never saw it but i could tell by the trailer that is absolutely nothing like the book and a good vampire book is the Silver kiss so so sad

Well, the best werewolf book I've ever read would be "Blood and Chocolate." Be warned, though, its a dark novel for teens, sort of a romance novel for guys. (no, not erotica!) Not everyone is into that, though. The same author wrote a simular book about vampires called "The Silver Kiss" I would also recomand the Noble Dead Saga about vampires. (www.nobledead.com)

The best fiction I have ever read regarding witches and vampires are the ones by Anne Rice. I have all of her books in hardcover, including two first editions and the companion books as well. She draws you into her world and it is indeed spellbinding.
