  • You need to wait 6 weeks to go swimming after a piercing like that one.
  • I agree with Nicole. Either wait the three weeks and then get the piercing afterwards..or don't go swimming. It might not hurt at the time, but there's the chance that it might get infected and then you'd have to take it out. Why waste the money?
  • I've had several piercings in my ear and my tragus was probably one of the least painful ones I had. My rook definitely hurt more.. However, I definitely wouldn't get it pierced three weeks before you have to go swimming.. The tragus is a spot that's VERY likely for infection and lake water or ocean water might not be healthy to swim in. Get it pierced after your boat trip!! It's a tight piercing and it looks really bad ass :)
