  • Yes. Anyone can be evicted form low income housing. Most are privately owned and the tenant obtains a HUD subsidy to fulfill their rent. Many also have strict guidelines on criminal offenses which are usually stated in their leases. To put it in the nicest way I can, Low income housing isn't drug rehab, it isn't a place for people to go with criminal problems. It's a way someone with little income can have a roof over their heads and get on their feet.
