For myself yes. For my kids I tried but they wouldn't wear them. Jeez they acted like I was another planet but trying to get them to wear knockoff clothing.

No I was never that rich.

Yes. Sometimes I've even gotten someone to wear them. I used to give my kids the money for the knock offs or the less expensive and let them make up the difference in cost. It was a great incentive for them to work to earn things. (paper routes, baby sitting, yard work, snow shoveling, etc.)

Nah, I never cared that much about fashion or trends.
