    reasonable housing with full utilities.
    medical care
healthy foods (lean meats, unprocessed foods) would decrease medical costs
    .
now that people are not forced to work 80 hours per week just to stay broke they can spend their income boosting the economy. the involuntary unemployment rate would be eliminated because people would no longer be taking up multiple jobs. employers would have to treat employees well with reasonable wages (which could be less than reasonable now because cost of living is dropped) because the economic slavery has vanished because you do not have to work to feed your kids.

i could name a million things but i would say the top one would be housing...then everyone could afford other things but still have a warm place to sleep everynight.

Gas-then people could afford food and other things. Not just gas you need for your car but to heat your home too.

Money! I think everyone should make equal money. If so, there would be no need for burglary, robbery, etc., and we could all have the same things as others.
I know, I know, then there would be no incentive to work, but most problems are caused by money, anyway, (or the lack of), so let's at least put everyone on a basic monetary equal footing.

i suppose I would say that I dont neccessarily think that it all be free unless EVERYTHING is free because evrything is a reaction from another thing. I do think that things are overpriced. I think I would give every person one free round trip to anywhere they want to go and a little money for food just so they can see what is out there. I dont want you thinking I am all about money because I am not. I am actually a person who struggles a great deal, but I just think that everyone had different needs and wants. I do think that medical should be free since we pay so much taxes every year. I also would love to give the single moms free daycare. I dunno. I am weird I suppose. lol

Well, what is the value of something free ? Who would prize free commodities ? Making even one thing free for everyone, if we except the sun, imagination, weight and gravity, death in the end, troubles and concerns, would probably be a global waste. The only valuable free thing we can make for everyone could be freedom. But even there, what is freedom worth if you need not to struggle for it ?

I see a lot of real good answers, especially necessities like food and water, but the thing that bothers me is that if all these things were free, no one would appreciate them, so for many people, the free item would loose its value.

I think people ought to get free gratitude.
