I plan to wear a red blouse and black skirt to an important function this Saturday evening. This may sound silly but what color shoes should I wear?

I'd wear black. Use the blouse colour to accentuate the outfit. It's hellish hard to match the two shades of red anyway, if you go with red blouse/shoes combination - in my experience anyway :)

I would opt for black along with black hose. Use the red blouse for accent and please don't try to match your shirt to your shoes. That is sooooo last year!

Black would look classy. Red would also do but it would have to be the same shade as the blouse. I would say black peep toes. If you have the money than Black Louboutins would be awesome as the red sole would totally compliment the outfit.
