HGH is not illegal, except in professional sports. It has legitimate medical uses. And it can be abused as well.

If you are looking to be a cop in the near future, would it still be recommended as illegal or not being able to be a cop?

It is not illegal as stated, it has medicinal uses and is impossible to detect elevated levels as you can naturally raise your own with good diet, exercise and branched chain amino acids (hgh is a complex of 141/142 amino acids). So... it'd be hard to tell unless you abuse it and have obvious signs of facial bone growth, hand growth and foot growth... they are fairly rare and you really have to abuse it to get those side effects.

same reason you can buy anything from magazines... its not illegal everywhere!
