Marcus Antonius is blustering, harsh and affable whereas Marcus Junius Brutus tries to use logic and discourses on the law and the "justness" of his actions. Here Shakespeare brings out the aggression of Marc Antony and his cleverness while showing how Brutus backed himself into a corner by allowing Antony to control the mob.
