Most of the time, if the condition is treatable with lasers. Also, a laser 'top-up' might be needed after a few years.

No its not true. Your vision gets worse over time and you'll have to go back for an "improvement". Tiger Woods had lasik and had to go back a second to correct his first surgery. Try google this title the article: "Woods has second laser eye surgery"
