The fastest method to losing inches and defining your midsection is cardio (running and walking) and traditional sit ups. By eliminating calories through cardio, you are burning off fat. Regular sit ups will then tone the midsection. Lay of your back, raise your feet on a chair or couch and perform 100 sit ups. Next, lay on your back, feet together and raise your legs , up and down, to work the lower abs. NExt, lay on your side and do side bends / side sit ups, each side.
